You begin your journey in Johannesburg,
the largest city in South Africa. Tour the nearby township of Soweto to
see the historic homes of Nelson & Winnie Mandala. Have lunch in a
local restaurant and visit a shebeen pub in a home. |

| From Johannesburg you travel north
to the legendary Sun City Resort. En route, we visit Lesedi Cultural Village
where you will see a cultural performance and demonstrations of local crafts.
After a lunch of traditional foods, you continue to Sun City. Play golf
on a Gary Player course, try your luck at gaming tables, go on a Game Drive
in the Pilanesburg Wildlife Reserve - or just relax at your hotel pool. |

Leaving Sun City, you take a flight
to Cape Town. The next day, you will have a tour of the world famous wine
region. Sample some of the vintages and have lunch at a wine estate. Explore
Cape Town at night. |

The next morning, you ascend by
cable car to the top of Table Mountain for a scenic panorama of Cape Town
and the Cape Peninsula. Later you take a ferry to Robben Island and the
prison where Nelson Mandela spent 26 years. After lunch, enjoy a city tour
of Cape Town. |

| Spend a full day touring the beautiful
Cape Peninsula. Enjoy the antics of the Jackass penguins at Simonstown,
view wildlife in the Cape of Good Hope Wildlife Refuge, and visit an ostrich
farm. After visiting Cape Point, the return to Cape Town takes you along
scenic Chapman's Peak Drive with beautiful views of the rugged coastline.
Spend your evening and the next morning shopping and dining at the Victoria
& Alfred Waterfront. |

Before bidding farewell to South
Africa, you will have one more day in Johannesburg to shop or maybe
visit Gold Reef City and go down in a working gold mine. You can also extend
your trip by 3 days with an optional visit to Victoria Falls in the Zambia.
Spend 2 nights at a deluxe lodge. Visit a local village, take a trip down
the Zambesi and marvel at the world's largest waterfall. |
